Create Your First Youtube Channel
- Login to your Gmail account
- Go to you YouTube
- Click on “Upload video” or “Go live” icon on the top right corner
- Click on “GET STARTED”
- Select how do you want to create your channel
- Create your channel
It is time to look each step of creating a YouTube Channel in detail.
Login to Your Google account
Search for Gmail login and click on the Google login link and select your account, if you have already signed in it will open your account, if you logged in before but logged out now you will be prompted to choose your account, If haven’t used the browser before to login you will be asked to enter your Gmail or phone number. Enter your Gmail id or phone number, Click on “Next”, enter your password and login to your Google account.
Go to YouTube
After you logged in to your Google account click on the Google app icon on the top right corner (9 dots), here you can see a bunch of Google product. Click on the YouTube icon, it will take you to the youtube home page.
Click on “Upload video” or “Go live” icon on the top right corner
In the YouTube home page click on the video camera icon with the plus sign on the top right corner, select either Upload video or Go live button, YouTube will prompt you to get started.
Click on “GET STARTED”
In the pop-up box YouTube will prompt you to create your YouTube channel to get started with your journey to pursue your creative passions and to share your stories with your audience. Now Click on “GET STARTED”.
Select how do you want to create your channel
It is the time to decide how do you want to create your YouTube channel, Google will create your channel in your name and use your picture on your Google account, if you want to use your name. If you would like to create your channel using another name or a brand name, you need to create a channel name in the next window. When you use the other name or a brand name to create a YouTube channel consider a channel name that represents you and the content you will upload. Don’t spend too much time thinking about the name as you can change your channel name at any time.

Now you have selected your YouTube Channel name, it is time to customise your channel and upload your first video.
